Project Overview
Chemie-Tech delivered EPC scope for a greenfield Jet A-1 fuel facility at Malta International Airport for ENEMED, including limited brownfield works to remove the existing tanks. The project combined new aviation-fuel tankage with associated fueling systems in a tightly controlled live-airport environment where safety, compliance, reliability, and continuity of airport operations were central to every design and construction decision.
Project Context
Airport fuel infrastructure carries little tolerance for disruption. The project had to be completed inside a running airport, with tankage, tie-ins, testing, and commissioning carefully managed so air traffic and airport operations were not disrupted.
Chemie-Tech Role
Chemie-Tech phased the works carefully, coordinating tankage, pumps, controls, and fuel-system interfaces around live-airport constraints so construction progress and commissioning readiness stayed aligned with operational requirements without interrupting airport activity.
Delivery Status
The greenfield Jet A-1 facility and limited brownfield tank-removal scope are recorded as completed.
