We have always been active in development of advanced technology. Such development results from in house ideas about new or improved processes. Economic and improved technologies are developed in the field of energy conservation and alternative fuels. Molecular Sieve based Ethyl Alcohol dehydration technology has been developed for the manufacturing of Fuel Ethanol. CPPL has established 2000 Lit/Day capacity pilot plant (based on molecular sieves technology) for dehydration of alcohol at one of the Group Company "Chemie-fills Organics".
The pilot plant for fuel ethanol is constructed to establish economical conversion of Industrial alcohol into Fuel Grade Ethanol by using Molecular Sieves. On the basis of pilot trial run we have established following Data:
-
Feed Moisture Content : 5.7% v/v
-
Product Moisture Content : 0.27% v/v
-
Feed Rate : 80 Lit/Hr.
-
Electrical Consumption : 4 KWH
-
Energy consumption : 17,500 Kcal/Hr
